Terms and Conditions for use of Online and Box Office Ticket Sales

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions the following words shall have the following meanings:-

“TTAC”
means The Tonbridge Theatre & Arts Club registered charity number 227035
“Theatre”
means TTAC trading as The Oast Theatre, London Road, Tonbridge, TN10 3AN
“Tickets”
means tickets offered for sale by the Theatre for attending Productions in the Theatre’s auditorium
“Member”
means a member for the time being of TTAC who by virtue of their membership is entitled to purchase one Discounted Ticket for each Production
“Associate Member”
means an individual, firm or company which, by virtue of paying an annual subscription to TTAC, is entitled to receive 10 complimentary Ticket vouchers
“Booking Form”
means the page for the booking of Tickets accessed via the Theatre’s website, and, where applicable, the paper form used by those not booking Tickets online
“Season Ticket Holder”
means a Member who by payment of a lump sum at the commencement of the Theatre’s season, has the entitlement to one free Ticket for each Production during that season
“Production”
means each play performed by Members at the Theatre including Youth Theatre plays, but excluding The Hoppers Summer Show
“Discounted Ticket”
is a Ticket issued to a Member at a discount to the full price fixed by TTAC from time to time
“Contract”
means any contract for the purchase of Tickets made between you and the Theatre

It is the intention of the Theatre that all the terms and conditions of the Contract are contained in these terms and conditions and no variation of the Contract will be valid unless set out in writing and signed by you and on behalf of the Theatre

Severability

If any part of these terms and conditions is not enforceable this will not affect the enforceability of any other part

Governing Law

These terms and conditions and any Contract incorporating them shall be governed by English law

Data Privacy

Key issues with respect to ticket purchases via the Theatre's website:

We collect the following information:

  • Name, user name, password and membership number
  • Contact information, including telephone number and email address
  • Demographic information, such as address and postcode
  • Payment details, such as Credit or Debit Card Number and associated authentication information.

This information is required to enable the fulfilment of a ticket(s). It allows us to contact you should there be a problem with a ticket sale, or there is a problem with an event, such as it is unavoidably cancelled. Our ticketing system and payment system is hosted by an external party and, therefore, the personal data is shared with the third party as a Data Processor. However, the Payment Card information is not retained after the payment has been successfully taken.

When first registering, should you tick the box 'Please check this box if you wish to receive news, special offers or other information', then your details will be added to our mailing list to update you of forthcoming events. We do not share this information with further third party organisations. Once you have received the first email, you may alter your preferences, or stop future notifications by following the link at the bottom of the email.
